Mods can move this to appropriate forum if needs be.

I'm looking for the cheapest way to bundle these 3 products.

TV - I have Sky Digitil but I want to make use of the TV sockets now in every room of my house. I just need the basic channels.

    Broadband - At least 2Mb.

Phone - anything goes as long as it's a decent rate.

NTL would have definitely been my preferred option. I ordered on their website yesterday. it was €65 for the 3. Today they rang saying broadband and phone isn't available in my area. TV costs €26 on it's own. It's digital which I don't need but if that's the only way I can get TV through cables then it'll have to do.

It doesn't matter if I have to go through 1, 2 or 3 different companies as long as it's the cheapest option.

    Thanks in advance.

/edit - My biggest question is, is NTL my only option if I want to use the TV sockets in my house?

While Sky are excellent compared to Cable, almost all the key channels are now available free-to-air on satellite. You mention that you are only interested in the "basic channels". BBC1,2,3,4, ITV1,2,3,4, CH4, Film4, E4, More4 etc are all free-to-air on Satellite. The Irish channels are free-to-air on analogue or DTT. You can re-use your Sky dish and even their set-top box - just stop paying your subscription. The only complication is that you will need to switch between analogue/DTT receiver and Satellite receiver - two remotes. You can get around this by purchasing a dual-mode receiver for around €100 - get all channels on one remote. If you are prepared to pay a bit more you can even get a HD set-top box or one with hard-disk or USB output. This way you will have the benefits of Sky HD & Sky + without paying any subscription. There is loads of info on Boards Satellite forum. You should be able to re-use the cabling in your house if it's good enough for satellite. You may need to re-terminate sockets with Satellite, or combined Satellite/Terrestrial.

Use the money you save from getting free TV to get the best Broadband you can afford. Don't go for the cheapest - wireless/mobile systems will generally drive you crazy. Get DSL over phone line from eircom or one of their reputable re-sellers. You can get a phone package of free calls thrown into the bundle - evenings/weekends or all day if you need it. You should have to pay no more than €56 per month in total for 2-3Mbps and free after-hours calls. 2MBps DSL is currently in process of being upgraded to 3Mbps at no extra cost.

...You will be paying less than what you would have been paying with NTL - and getting a better service with capability to upgrade to HD & PVR for no futher monthly subscription :)
