If you drop it outside my house and let it walk in and we feed it, Mam will probably let us keep is since our other cat died 2 months ago...but if we ask her to get one, Dad will jump in and say no. Any cat we have gotten has "mysteriously" turned up outside our door.

Oh is it a boy or girl? If it's a girl, then that is definitely a no. Can't afford to go neutering another cat!
