Assessment in Gym

I have booked an assessment in my gym - finally - one year after joining!

For the past 6 months I have been going at least 3 times a week, sometimes more. Generally I do classes, with warm-up in the gym itself and use the pool on occasion. Before Christmas my gym attendance was a lot more sporadic ;)

But anyway, is there anything I sould be asking or anything that is usually done during a review that I could ask about? I don't have a set routine at the moment but I have been steadily increasing my fitness levels and am a lot stronger/leaner than I was a year ago. I am still exactly the same weight though!

What are people's opinions on classes (I usually do Boxercise, Spinning and 20/20/20 Combo) as opposed to getting a programme put together?

Any advice welcome - sorry if this seems a bit random!

Classes are o'k but should be a supplement to your resistance training, just ask the instuctor for a full body workout, and say you want to be challenged! to many instructors are scared to give proper training to women..

    enjoy.

Yes - I suppose you're right, but I just feel as if I get a much tougher workout when I'm being pushed by the instructor - I go so much farther than I do if working out on my own. It's a motivation thing and a stamina thing I suppose.
