    for women, goin to a 70s night and google not much help. since mini skirts and hotpants are the norm anyway im lookin for some funky ideas to stand out. any thoughts apreciated, thanks

    Definitely try ebay!
    Literally just put in "70s clothes" "70s hotpants" etc and loads will probably come up, you will get a lot of fancy dress items but there will be real vintage 70s gear which will make you stand out.

    I love 60s fashion and buy a lot of vintage clothes from ebay. so I'm presuming the same will go for 70s!
