Can I delete everything from an ipod?

Is this possible? There was a load of stuff put on by accident from my computer to my new ipod. It was a reading lesson thing for one of my kids and there is about 2000 different words which are about a second long each but they are considered seperate tracks.

Wipe it using itunes or format it in windows.

Aye, or simply click on the iPod icon and delete every folder in that mofo.
