Got my guitars back

    Sent my OLP MM4 to packie mcdermott a few days ago to get the 3 GFS pickups installed and tapped and to get a full setup.

    Also sent my Tokai to get new GFS pups put in them and get them tapped.


    The man...is a legend. The guitars play unbelievably. They feel so good and the pups sound great, The taps work really well and you dial it in with the tone knobs. Will post pics of the MM4 when i can. Just to say, the guy is brilliant!

    If you've good experience with a tech, you should add him to the Resources sticky....its a question that comes up time and time again, and theres disappointingly few guys to recommend.

    thanks alot for the contact info sei - any chance of a ball park figure for a pickup install and setup ?
    thinking of putting some gfs p90s into my sg copy, but dont want to spend alot of money on it

    TBH i will let him quote you. I threw him an extra few bob because he looks after me, Prob 70 euro range but i dont know. maybe cheaper

    cheers for that, I was just interested in a round number estimate, I've never had a guitar professionally looked at before.

    actually, one final newbie question for ya: if I wanted something like a switch replaced, or a crackling pot changed would he keep a stock of such items or do I need to order them myself ?
