I don't know if it's just Castlebar or Aldi everywhere, but Her Indoors just picked up two Tevion slimline DVD players for €9.99 each.

Good tipoff oscar, thanks. I'm travelling to Castlebar tomorrow morning so I must drop in to pick one up.

I didn't see them listed as specials on the Aldi site, so it must be some kind of stock clearance

Clearance is right - they were walking out the door. Fingers crossed, but I wouldn't be too optimistic about them being there tomorrow.

Just to put you all in the picture. Lidl opened a new store in Castlebar today. They distributed a special catalogue with the local rags All the other biggies, Aldi, Tesco,Dunnes & Supervalu have all benn advertising Specials as well, I presume to get some of the Lidl action. Aldi cut a lot of their techie stuff to the bone.
