Drifting Form

Similar question to one posted on the form during benching. I didn’t want to hijack that thread.

I’ve noticed that my form gets worse as I near the last few reps of any of my bench sets. When I start it’s nice and controlled pushing from my chest over the sternum. Now as I progress through my set and start finding it tougher, my form starts to drift back towards my neck so I find I’m pushing from over the top of my chest/ bottom of neck.

I can understand why but was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this. Do I just need to concentrate more on my form? I’ve started to stop sets when I find my form drifting as there’s no point kidding myself saying I did 10 reps if the last three are just crap.

Does this point to a particular muscle group which is weaker? Is there other excerises I could do to improve this? Or is it just my support and motivate muscles and I just need to keep practicing?

    Any help appreciated.
