Apologies but another Rate My Diet Thread!

    Hi all,

I'm back training after a break of a few months. Aim is to reduce bf.

    STATS
    Height 5'10''
    Weight 90kg

    DIET

    Meal 1: Shake 2 Scoops (O.N. 100% Whey)
Meal 2: Natural, low fat, organic yoghurt, handfull of nuts, fruit salad
Meal 3: Chicken breast with a plain organic pepper sauce
Meal 4: Chicken breast with a plain organic pepper sauce
Meal 5: Meat/ Fish plus veg
    Meal 6: Shake 1 Scoop

I may also have another Shake (2 Scoops) immediately after a work out.

    EXERCISE

I'm doing weights 3 times a week and alternating between an A and B set and varying from 3 Sets x 8 Reps and 4 Sets x 6 Reps lifting as heavy as possible. Also doing intervals on a threadmill afterwards and cycle approx. 50k per week and do a 10k run at the weekend.

Any comments, advice or recommendations on the above would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Les

How long have you been doing the above, and is it working ?

Personally, I'd ditch the whey in the morning and try and get a decent breakfast - eggs or porridge maybe. Very protein orientated for someone cycling/running a lot. You seem to be bit light on carbs in the morning that you might need for your cycle later on. Other than that it seems pretty strict and a bit dull on the tastebuds - fair play if you can keep it up, but you might benefit from adding a bit of variety, both in terms of nutrition and in reducing the boredom factor.

For fat loss your diet is excellent, but why don't you employ more variety? I know that for me two chicken breasts in the one day every day would get old fast.
