Does anyone know where I can get info on what blu rays would be able to play on my PS3 which is a european model. I got Full Metal Jacket from the States last week (for €14) and it plays on my PS3 (even though the box states that it is for sale in the US only) but when I check most american sites, they state that their blu rays are for US and Canada only. With the rip off cost of blu rays over here, it would be great to be able to get them cheaper in the states, but only if they'd work!!!

I think that Amazon.com (US) tends to be cheaper once you check that there region free first.

Movietyme is very handy to see what films are region free if browsing.

Yes thats what I do. Amazon rarely tell you if a disc is region free. Check with movietyme and buy from amazon.
