I was looking on the DF website and its not very clear how the scale works.
    A recruit gets E245.33 a week??
When you complete recruit traning to become a 2 star it increases to E456.57 and when you become a 3 star it increases to E475.77?? is this correct?
and whats the story with the likes of 24hr guard and other overtime details?

In the PDF there is no overtime pay, However there is extra pay for things like; CIT, Guard Dutie, Armed Escort and similar activites.

I am not actually PDF, I just know some people so I can't really answer that with 100% certainty.

From what I have seen, they would not be every day, but, (from the people I know) About every 2 weeks.

    check this out.

around 25000 Basic for a 3 star in there first year. From what I gather.

Remember if you are gonna do it you may as well do it for the experience at first and then worry about making a Carreer out of it.

If you do it just for money you are not likely to like it.

Belive me it aint for the money, i will be halving my weekly wage but its somthing ive wanted to do for a long time so id rather get paid half of what im earning now to do a job thats less ordinary and one which i will enjoy rather than being stuck in a job i hate.

Depending on your job you can get other allowances like Tech pay (this can be very generous) and subsistance allowance for drivers (in the right unit this can be very lucrative and leads a lot of drivers to never do an NCO's course).

Tech pay is taxed, but is carried over into your pension.

Subsistance allowance is not taxed and doesn't carry into your pension.
