I've used 2 cheap outfits - harvey norman (bricks and mortar) and photobox (online). A third which is also relatively cheap was the photo store on the upper level of blanchardstown shopping centre.

The experience is that you'll probably get what you pay for in terms of quality - for 6x4's 19c per print in harvey norman (walk in and print while you wait) and 15c at photobox.ie (upload and postal delivery). I find harvey norman's quality (fuji lab equipment) to be ok, but just that and disappointing if you go to a large size (even 8x10). Photobox was just plain disappointing in my experience of them (which i only used the once but would think long and hard before returning to them).

Having said that try photobox for yourself - they'll give you 30 free - just pay postage.

I really lament the photo store in blanchardstown centre (upper floor) - they're no longer there. But when they were, their prices were good (can't recall exact detail) and quality i found was excellent (agfa lab equipment i think) including enlargements. But they're not there now - not sure why. Oh darn it - if i could turn back time........... :D

I wasn't happy with the prints I got from photobox granted i took them up on the free prints offer so cant really complain i guess, but i took up Foto.com similar offer and was much more satisfied with the results they also used better quality paper compared to the stuff from photobucket. I have used foto.com twice since then, delived in 3 days or less every time.
