    Have read some favorable reviews of this camera. Just wondered if anyone has any experience or thoughts on this camera before I purchase. I dont have much experience of photography.

    Looks like a decent enough camera and very easy to use with it's implementation of live view and the flip screen. Small viewfinder though if you would prefer to use that (it will help reduce camera shake by holding it close to your body).
    In body IS and an ok kit lens.

    There is a review on this site [url]Http://www.dpreview.com[/url] and this site http://www.cameralabs.com which will review it against the competition.

    Other cameras in the same class will be just as good, the Olympus E-520, the Nikon D60, the Canon 450D and the Pentax K200D and I'd recommend you hold them all to see which one feels the best to you. They can all take good pictures in the right hands!
