    Can anyone recommend any good multiplayer games for the ps3 - as in in-the-room multiplayer?

    was looking at COD 4 and it looks good.

    COD4 is one of the best

    also Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is quite good, you can play terrorist hunt

    Warhawk is fun. You can take 4-way split screen onto the internet if you like.

    PES 2008 isn't too bad offline. Even with the updates though, it can be jittery.

    I know its all about opinions, but PES2008 is truly terrible. How they could put out a game so flawed is beyond me. First time I ever bought FIFA v PES was after I dumped PES, and I must say, its not perfect, but it is very, very good. The "Be a Pro" mode is brilliant.

    cod4 is ok but battlefield bad company is the nuts online, i go to sleep each night with red dots in my sniper scope ,,,,,breath and squeez,,,,,pop,,,,,,,i love it
