I could have swore I saw a sign in their Liffey Valley branch a few months back which said "buy online at zavvi.co.uk — free delivery" or something. Maybe it was a mistake.

Yeah I remember reading somewhere that if you order stuff off the zavvi site and get it delivered to a zavvi store in Ireland that you dont have to pay any delivery charges. Might have just been for a limited time though.

Is the sale just for the website or does the shop have a sale going on too?

The shops are as well—I was in the Liffey Valley branch earlier. They're closing early tonight and the sale is starting tomorrow. Many of the shelves were empty and still being packed. They had loads of Sopranos 1-6 boxsets, didn't see a price though.

Been trying to place an order since 12:20 but haven't managed it. Total disaster.

I think the postage is £2 'cover charge' per order plus £2 per item, for example

    1 item - £4
    2 items - £6
    3 items - £8

Bioshock for the XBox 360 is £11.99

and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six - Vegas [Classics] (XBOX 360) £8.99

Ordered the 'House' boxset there anyways.. what a deal!!

Worked out at £26.99 (or roughly €34).

I saw it in my local Zavvi for €70 recently and thought it was great value at that price. Might put it in it's own thread.

Just ordered House 1-3 and Six Feet Under. Fantastic prices when you compare them to other website shops.

    Excellent buys mate...

'House' and 'Six Feet Under' are two of my favourite shows of past and present.

Delivery is indeed £2 and you're still charged it if they delivery to a store - daft but true. I accidentally sent mine to my local Zavvi store () but e-mailed them to try and get them to change the delivery address. If they can't, I don't mind as that Zavvi is only 5 minutes from me.

Still, even with the £2 shipping charge.. I'd rather than with weak sterling than use Play's bastardized conversion rate.

Just bought 3 xbox 360 games for £34. No delivery charge for some reason :-)

Was it your first order / new registration Regan? It's typically free if so.

Ops, it was. Didn't know that. :)
If I had known that, I wouldve ordered more :)
