Hi, I work for a magazine company, who only did online orders but wev start putting our magazine in shops now and we noticed other magazines using marketing ideas such as a pop out ad on the display stand or a flap over where there magazine is displayed with the name on it to draw attention, does any1 know a company who prints these or what there called. we want to look at the costs involved. Thank you!

I can't picture exactly what you mean, but these guys are excellent for unique display's and that type of stuff. I have dealt with them a number of times and would recommend them.

They are call a variety of things!

Just come up with a design that you are happy with – something striking – appropriate to your publication. Then the printers will print that up – dye cut it (ie into its shape) and put some way to fix it to the display.

Remember the retailers get hounded by all publication to have their tome given prominence or better shelf slots or merchandising. So don’t go over board.

Any good printer should give you a dig out – price? Well that depends on shape, colour, quantity etc.

Another idea is a free standing display where the magazine is stacked & displayed. Either a floor standing unit or countertop. It also give plenty of space for graphics/branding etc.
