    Hi all,

Question re fitting an immersion timer. I have a timer with usual on/off/clock settings but it only has one terminal for output. My question is this... which is normally connected here the sink or bath element and what happens to the other element??

    Thanks in advance
    Billy

The immersion timer should be installed before the sink/bath switch. That way the timer will work with the sink or bath element (which ever is selected). This is why there is only one output from the timer.

You seem to be trying to install it after the sink/bath switch.

Ok thanks for that....it's just that the literature that came with the timer has a wiring diagram showing the timer after the switch??

Perhaps that was showing an on/off isolator type switch for a single element immersion
