Swimming/hair colour disaster??

    Hi all,

Quick question - I had a colour correction performed yesterday from black to chocolate brown. A permanent colour was put in my hair after it was stripped of the black, but there was still an orange tinge near the roots, so they put a semi permanent on over that. Now the colour is all nice and even and lovely, but I'm supposed to go to the swimming pool tonight and surfing tomorrow evening - is this going to absolutely ruin my hair? Will the chlorine play havoc with the dye? I really don't want to have to go back in tomorrow to get it fixed! Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks

I used to work in a swimming pool and people with dyed hair would ask me on an almost daily basis will the chlorine turn their hair green - I've never seen it happening though, seems like a myth to me

I dontknow if it will affect you hair. I've heard about chlorine afecting dyed blonde hair- Apparantly putting ketchup in afterwards for 10-15mins works. I've never tried this out myself but It might work....
