Overeseas Internships/Work Experience Info Please!!!

    Hi Guys/Gals. I am looking for some information please and I hope you can help. I am returning to Full Time Education as a Mature Student commencing in September 2008. I have a background in Film/TV. I am looking for information on overseas employment for the summer months, specifically concerning Internships.

    Does anybody have experience in finding employment for the summer through this means? I am looking to work on a TV set for the Summer and am looking at Dubai as a possibility. A friend of mine lives there and has recommended it to me. I am just a little unsure on how to apply for it.

    Would the colleges have links with companies or would I have to go through the process myself contacting them directly? I will be attending Sligo IT. Is the internship paid work?

    Any information would be of huge benefit to me. i am also taking up a foreign language (Spanish) with my studies to help further my career options. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
