All right all, hows things goin. Listen i've got a major problem and i hope some1 can help. I've got one've these plug in adaptors as a charger for the zen, cause i'm in thailand atm, i dont like relying on pc's as my zen may not connect (like on this piece of ****) and as a result i'm out of music!! So anyway, i plug in my zen and the charging thingy comes on, so there i am thinkin "sorted".. But no, the prick doesnt charge, it just stays at the same battery level with the lightning flashing!! Wanka! So now i'm bejaysused in thailand with no tunes!

Any1 got any advice? I have my zen both on and off when i plug it into the adaptoy (using my connection wire) and both give the same result.. Am i doin it wrong? This is like the 3rd adaptor i've used....

    Sound for any help,
    Sincerely
    Roebuck

Was your Zen FULLY discharged when you had to recharge it? If so it may take a little while before you see any movement in the battery icon. If you don't see anything change after an hour, perhaps try a reset of the unit.

So far I've charged my zen with one of those plug adapters (even in different countries), through direct usb connection to my PC and also through the cigarette lighter dealy in my car with the cable for my sat nav - and all worked fine.

But having said that I've noticed that my zen takes about 8 hours to fully charge when connected to my PC at work. But only took less than 2 when I left it plugged in in my car. Weird, but I think charge time varies depending on what way you're charging.

So maybe you're just not being patient enough?

On the Zen Micro it says you have to put the player into "lock" to charge off an external charger or a PC that doesn't have the software installed.
