    Hey there,
For the last 4 years, my job has had me out on the road all day, so i've had to eat whenever i got the chance in various restaurants, pubs, petrol stations etc But for the next few months i will be based in the office..at a desk..all day.
I find myself wanting something to nibble on, i brought fruit today and yesterday, but you cant really eat fruit with a cup of tea..
I don't want anything like biscuits either, something more like cracker bread etc..thats healthy, as i'll be sitting down most of the day on me arse.
any suggestions? What do you snack on at work??

You could try Krispirolls, they're hard to describe, but they're a kind of slightly sweet brown cracker, but not really like a cream cracker in that they're chunkier. Sorry for the terrible description, but they're lovely, really cruchy. You can put anything you like on them - jam, butter etc, (I love marmalade) and I'm sure they're something you could have with a cup of tea, you'll find them in any supermarket near the Ryvita.

I think you should have special food times where you stop everything else and just enjoy the ritual. Snacking while working just stinks of mindless eating. I wouldn't be able to stop if I got into that habit.

You could try some Crunchy Granolas - They come in different flavours and are half price in Dunnes at the moment. Nice on their own and with a cup of tea. But nothing beats a lunch/snack away from the desk so snack on the granolas if you are reaching a slump.

Whenever i want a snack in work, I eat rice cakes. You can get them plain or with different toppings!

+1 for the Krisprolls. They come in two varieties. Golden and Wholewheat i think.

Why you out of the big red fun jeep Femmy?

Weight Watchers Lemon & Ginger Cookies (delicious)
    Popcorn
Ryvita & low fat cheese spread

I agree with Moonbaby here, I have certain snack times that I look forward to, if I didn't I would eat all day long..
