3G Mobile broadband just isn't designed for this usage, or tbh any usage beyond light mobile use.

I think it can be done, but you can also drive a car with your feet...

In short? You'll be hard pushed to get any networking device that connects via USB to work on a PC half of the time, let alone a PS2 (unless it's running a linux distrobution).

    In short? No.

Please read the sticky on the the Broadband forum
    (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055115306)

Well joeygl, best of luck to ya trying to game on a 3G wireless network. They say speeds of UPTO 2Mb or 3Mb, but it is highly unlikey you will get anywhere near this. Due to contrainsts on the network, other users the system get bogged down. It's really only intended for basic email, surfing...No torrents or gaming !

I don't know how it works the ps2 (time to trade up to a xbox 360 me thinks)

I've seen the 3 modem working with the xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo WII

Here's how to set it up with the 360 the ps2 should be similar enough I guess....

About a year ago I had my 360 running off 3's 3G Broadband, basically the same setup as the link drunkmonkey posted. So it works, but was hopeless!, I would get the "Connection Interrupted" message every 10 seconds or so!

But it worked fine on my o2 3.5G connection.

I got the impression that he wanted to connect the modem directly, not have to share via ICS and a crossover cable or over wifi.

Doing this is quite useless anyways as it just ads overhead.

Erm... I wasn't rubbing anything in, that speed test is in my sig :P If you think that's bad I better not post the speed results from the dedicated fibre line in work :P
