Help in training for fat loss

    Hi I am involved in sports nutrition and only have a small knowledge of weight training, I need some advise for someone who needs to loose some body fat. Its a female , has good diet organised and is now looking for a program in Gym to help reshape and define her bod!! Personal trainer in her Gym not too helpful. Any body out there got some good advise??:rolleyes:

    Concentrate on full body compound lifts like deadlift, squat, bench press, lunge, barbell row, stiffleg deadlift, shoulder press, crunch, plank, barbell curl, pull-ups (or down), dips, etc. Those are handy in that there are always free weights available, even when the gym is full, so no waiting around. If she is short of time, she can superset opposing lifts (barbell row supersetted with bench press).

    Do cardio afterwards.

    Hi Thanks for that info, I stick to what I know so its great to get proper training information. I will pass this onto my lady and hopefully we should see some improvement in her soon.

    Hi I dont really want to mention the Gym, just because she is not happy doesnt mean the gym isnt up to standard.
