Accomodation in London

    Anyone know of good accomodation in london,not too expensive but not a hostel, flying into heathrow,where is the best location to stay in,want to head out on the beer and that,dont know london that well

    hi there,
    ok london is a big place.... your flying into heathrow so your on west side for london, ealing borough is bout 10min away. Ealing good spot plenty of bars and restaurants, couple of night clubs but about ten min outside ealing you have place called acton which has a great spot called "the red back" is aussies and irish place, good bands and plenty of beer for you. Couple of holiday inns, look up holiday inn hanger lane w5, Are you going alone? cause wouldnt really recommend you do it alone, although london is big can be lonely

    The last time I was in London we stayed in the Camden Lock Hotel, found it very good with a nice breakfast as well. Link here. This is a few minutes walk from the tube station.

    Another one I stayed in - not as good as above but again good location and clean was the Comfort Inn near Victoria Station.
