whats the lowest boi will go

    i was thinking of buying boi shares now at 6.20. whats the lowest they will go. i have 20000 to invest but its short term. i will nedd the money back again about october is it worth it.

    The lowest they will can go is 0

    If they have to issue rights and/or dividend cut then the stock has further to fall, if those fears are groundless, and credit markets hold up, then a significant upward move is not unreasonable.

    If you want your money back in Oct I wouldnt invest in bank shares, in fact I wouldnt invest in shares at all. At the moment the environment is too uncertain and you could easily lose 10 - 20% of your investment in a couple of weeks. FYG some of the UK bank stocks dropped>10% last week.

    I think there is some serious value in financial stocks at the moment assuming you have a long term view eg 5yrs+.

    I think for you the risk is too great
