Will I fail NCT for not displaying an insurance cert?

    My NCT is today. I just realised that although I paid my insurance renewal a few weeks back, they have not yet sent me the insurance cert, so my current one in the window is out of date?

    Will I fail on this, do they check it at all?

    Neither tax nor insurance form part of the nct.

    ^^+1, It Doesn't come into it. I am selling an old BMW and I put it through the NCT last week, transferred my insurance from my current car just for the day, even though the disc was out of date, no problems..
