OK, I'm going to totally contradict myself in a previous post.

Anyway, I've found that in the last few years - since mid 40s - my shape has changed. There's fat on me that won't move around my hips and belly. So the kinds of clothes I wear no longer suit me - or at least, I don't like myself in them anymore.

So I need a Trinny&Suzanna type to go shopping with me.

There are some provisos to make T&S's life difficult:
I refuse to wear high heels
I cycle so the clothes need to be practical.
I get eczema so the clothes need to be natural materials.

Where will I find a T&S type to take me shopping? I'm willing to pay.

Oh yes, I also hate clothes shopping so can't bring myself to spend Saturdays sussing out what shops have in stock.

    Please help!

Any friends whose style/opinion you admire? I know Brown Thomas have personal shopper type people, you book yourself in and give them your details (size, height, type of clothes you're after etc) and they'll have outfits in your size to hand when you go. Doesn't cost anything afaik and you're not obliged to buy everything, but you may get some ideas. Not sure of any other stores that do this. Good luck and happy shopping.

No, my friends are no good for this kind of thing! Thanks for that, badolepuddytat, I didn't know that personal shoppers did style advice.

Has anyone tried a Personal Shopper?

Debenhams and Topshop also have personal shoppers. No charge.
