learner driver status

    Does anyone know if the whole driving without a full licence driver thing is being enforced now? or is it due to start in july??

    It starts in July, there are doing checks now to show they are going to be "serious" about this.

    Wrong. Learner permits were first issued on the 30th of October 2007. All those driving on learner permits are bound by the rules that most think only come into enforce on the 30th of June. All this 30th of June deadline did was to give those on "provisional" licenses, more specifically 2nd provisional licenses, a chance to get, and pass a driving test.
    As for whether or not this is going to be enforced or not, the learning to drive forum has seen an increased number of people being stopped, and even prosecuted for driving unaccomp.

    They are actively enforcing it in some areas. I saw a learner being evicted from his car and made walk the other day.
