I am very temped to get some stuff from River Island but I know if I do I will get outside the shop and see 5 lads wearing the stuff I have just bought.

Is there any sites what do stuff very similar in style to River Island?

Asos seems to do stuff but it seems to be a lot more expensive then other places.

I know what you mean. Hate that too. Try BT2, sure it will be more expensive but you are paying for being more exclusive + the sale starts this Saturday ;)

Who cares if other people have the same clothes as you?

Ah come on, there's nothing worse than coming across people wearing the same clothes as you. I bought an Abercrombie hoodie and two other girls on my floor in work have it too. Puts you off a bit!

River Island used to be my fave shop! I think it's turned too skanger-ish now though. Am I the only person who's noticed this? Even the River Island I used to shop in has become over-run with vile mouthed skangers. Why the sudden change??

Have you tried Zara for men or Pull & Bear.

Zara's stuff is fab for dressy going out wear.

Pull & Bear is great for casual, Hoodies, T shirts, jackets etc.

    Best of Luck!

No you're not the only one, they only seem to do skimpy animal print or torn illuminous tops now and it's impssible to find a pair of plain jeans there any more.

    Zara's quality is absolute sh***!!!!
Had a pair of trousers, a blouse and a coat from them and the same drama with all: the inner lining just disappears. Meaning, not the trimming goes, it's the material itself that seems to dissolve. Had the coat only 3 months and loads of holes.
My boyfriend bought a coat there too, against my warning. A few months into it he regrets this decision.

And find it hard to get anything nice in RI these days too. Was also wondering if it's just me. Thanks for thread!

@pythia: every girl seems to have a ton of Abercrombie. No surprises there. Their hoddies are nice anyway though!!!

I have loads of stuff from Zara (I'm wearing pants and a jumper from there now) and I've never had any problems. I have a pair of trousers from there that I've been wearing, washing and ironing a couple of times a week for the last six months and they look the same as they did when I first bought them.

I've never had that problem. Think they're clothes are excellent quality. I have a trench coat from there for the last i dunno 4 years! (need a new one) and bought a gorgeous coat there this winter which has no holes as of yet

Nah, not anymore. I work in a bank HQ. I wear a heavy hoody as a jacket in the summer and two other girls on my floor do the same with the same hoody.
I wear it around the office when it's cold too, never get told off for it!
