    hi everyone

Can anybody give me advice about how to wear hairpieces for wedding you know like feathers or whatever. I have a wedding next friday and i'd like to wear one but I only tried it for 1 other wedding last year and it looked terrible i have long dark hair and i just had my hair down and this clip thing on the side of my head. When i looked back at the pictures it looked bizarre!!!
My outfit is a cream halternck dress with stencils of pale pink and black roses on it. Its from warehouse and i got fuschia pink shoes and bag to go.
    Any suggestions would be appreceiated
    Thanks

You could try a low bun, or one slightly to the side. Something like this, but a simpler bun:

Even if you decide to wear more on the top I think a bun always looks best as the piece can just get lost in down hair.

That is really pretty i'll think about the upstyle.
I have to say though the last two weddings i've gone to i went that morning to the hairdressers for upstyles and told them i wanted something soft and not too fussy and both times i went home afterwards and took it out and straightened it and left it down cause it was severe with huge barrell curls i looked like i had a birds nest on my head it was dreadful and not what i wanted at all but i'm terrible at complaining so i paid and left!!!!

You could try it yourself! I'm REALLY bad at doing my own hair, like awful! But, alas, I say blow dry your hair as normal or use rollers for volume and just pull it back an play around with it with loads of pins like these http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y47/katreeann/hairpins.jpg and a lotta hair spray!
