hi, im self employed running a restaurant and the restaurant can't even cover its expenses and I have no income whatsoever from the business and at the moment I have major problems trying to cover my own personal expenses with the mortgage, esb, phone bills all being returned and at the same time Im being chased by my suppliers in the business. I have been paying tax to the government for 24 years now.
I cannot get out of the restaurant since I signed a long lease and I cannot get out of it unless I sell it(Its up for sale but no one has bought it yet)

What benefits can I get to support this financial crisis.

As far as i know you are not entitled to any money of Social Welfare, As you are self employed and still running a business.
