    Pity it's not on The Palmer as well. My mate won the singles comp the year before last with 34 pts, think the CSS that day was 31! Goods prizes too. Hope I can get the time off to play one of the days. :)

    I'm playing the Smurfit in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to seeing if it lives up to the hype.

    got a flyer today from the K Club... open competitions every friday during august on the smurfit. did anyone play during the open week? is it in good nic??

    I played it back at the end of June and i found it very disappointing. Totally underwhelming.

    The layout is superb, and i could say there's a bad hole on it. But there's just nothing to take the breath away about it. The condition was the most disappointing thing though... pretty shabby in places.

    Not surprised their running opens on it as the Friday we had the outing we were the only people on the course. Was like a ghost town.

    Mount Juilet is much better as far as im concerned. More enjoyable
