    Just got this today.
Battery is fully charged. Put switch to single fire
squeeze the trigger and nothing happens.
No noise whatsoever, no motor movement nothing dead.

I dont know how to strip this AEG yet. There is a body locking lever
like the real steel and it looks like it may open like the real thing
but on mine its very stiff and it looks like it may break if I tried.
So dont want to chance using force.

I can push the body locking lever and open the body a few mm which will
allow me to rotate the fire selector switch to the full auto position.
The AEG fires fine! when I do this on Full Auto. But when moving the
selector switch back to Single/Select fire nothing happens!!

Anyone know how to strip this down correctly. Diagram is no good as I dont
know what to remove first. Cant find a take down guide anyplace on the web.

I really dont want to damage this by mistake.

Apparently you push the hop up forward while opening the body locking lever
to allow you to hinge the body forward and remove top cover etc.
But this aint working for me. As the hop up cannot move enough to clear the nozzle.

Richie had a good look around at this - I'll ask him to post later, or PM you with details.

If you'd rather not muck about with it though, send it back and we'll sort it out, and cover your postage costs.

Cheers thanks. From reading on Arnies Airsoft there are others
    that have the same issues.

Fires on full auto nice and fast though!! :D

Mmm Looks like this may be the first AEG I try to open and fix! but will take all the
    help I am given,

Hmmm, thats very strange, i gave it a good check over before we sent it out and it was perfect. as tony said though if ya dont figure it out we'll look after it., :)

to open then though, theres a small allen key at the rear of the pistol grip under the stock, loosen that and then the pin on the right sode of the gun should pop out, then theres a screw in the hole where that came from and that will release the bracket on it altogether, also, remove the battery and theres a flat head screw in there too and the stock should just come away.,

Semi auto is usually controlled with a little sprung arm, that is pushed by a notch in the sector gear to disengage the mechanism.

Could be as simple as a spring moved out of place, I hope its sorted soon, really lovely aeg.

    Pics are up.

Thanks for the replies guys, I doubt i will get a good look until the weekend.
I may be asking a few questions after I get to fiddle with it a bit more.
The last thing I want to do is end up sending it
back so will leave that option unless I really need to.
(Must remember to keep the box which is in work..just in case)

Im not in any Huge mad panic to fix the issue as it will still fire full auto,
Plus to date have never been skirmishing! so its only a minor annoyance.
(you'd expect it from a cheap clone and I'd get over it better if it was a cheap clone, its a bit more annoying when its something expensive brand)

Problem fixed......or it seems to have disappeared.

By removing the magazine release switch pin that ran through the
body of this AEG and the center hinge screws I was able to separate
the front of the aeg from the back.

The receiver, trigger group & Butt stock was then accessible.
Unfortunately I could not figure out how to remove the gearbox
which got me a little mad.

While i had it partially (very partially) disassembled and I was switching back
from semi to auto I forgot which direction I moved the fire selector switch so I think
I moved it a full 360degrees in one direction. All of a sudden semi worked for min.
I kept twiddling with the fire selector and now it seems to fire on Semi all the time now.
    (Which is correct)

It appears when firing sometimes to spit out 2bb's at a time. Dunno what causes
this. Have seen a similar issue with my Army L85.

to get the gearbox out you have to strip off the pistol grip and the but stock.,:)

The two bb's thing is usually to do with the hop.

Reseat the rubber or turn it on a little to prevent double feeds.
