    please make sure that any dock you're looking at is certified to be used with the ipod touch.

    because as far as i know the iphone draws 5w power whereas ipod's draws 8w power. now i know the iphone and ipod touch are different devices but they are insanely similar. you put 8w into a 5w device and it may not go boom today, tomorrow but it will go boom quicker than usual.
