Never mind about this. Just checked the thread again and it has been somewhat derailed from its original focus with some side argument :) It had mentioned John o'Shea earler though.

Hey man, will you take that link down. It will only ruin it for others if they want to watch it.
As you can see, we already have a new member who probably got this on a search.

Doh, its too late, he has already quoted with it.

    Tamayo Eliminated
No sooner than Jonathan Tamayo had eliminated Michael Glasser, then he himself busted out.

All in preflop with pocket aces against John O'Shea's pocket jacks, a cruel third jack on the river put him out of contention.

so at what stage do they put them all on one table, when it's down to the last 10?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 6,956 ✭✭✭CHD

with 7 left i think.3 handed is pointless and will cost loads in antes and blinds.better for the players if its 7 handed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,786 ✭✭✭funnyname

found the answer on pokernews, just needed to read a bit more

    Balancing Tables
It has been decided that when they get down to eight players, they will play on two tables of four, and when they make seven, they will merge down to a single table until they lose one.

    ONE TIME

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,698 ✭✭✭semibluff

    Tales from the Rail
After Justin Filtz and John O'Shea had checked down a 4-3-3-3-2 board, O'Shea announced a full house, showing A-2 in the process.

"Good catch on the river," commented Filtz.

"My ace wasn't good?" inquired O'Shea.

"No, I had you until the river," came the response.

"No, my ace was definitely good."

    "I had ace-jack."

"Your eight flashed when you folded though."

    "You didn't see correctly then."

"You should continue bet that flop anyway."

    ... and it's game on

lol - love dat ole trick

Shame Scotty went out, no better man than Dagunman to take him on in a drinking / playing poker / winning a WSOP bracelet contest.

One thing I will say for daguman is that he doesn't have they typical Oirish accent that the yanks would be used to.
