Haulage strike in Spain - will it affect a holiday to Barcelona next week?

My parents are heading to Barcelona next Thursday for a week. Have heard that the haulage strike in Spain has gone on for over a week now and has caused the petrol stations and supermarkets to be empty. Is this still the case and if so, is it only the case in some parts of Spain? Any advice on how my parents might go about…
