Ordered online today to a newly set up account, have all the gear already, how long does it take them to enable broadband on the line from receipt of order? cheers

Up to 10 working days, usually 5 or less though.

Sometimes the equipment arrives before the exchange work is done.:)
The small rural exchanges can take longer than the larger urban ones.

the crowd i work for do a lot of broadband installs for eircom, seemingly they're legally bound to wait 10 working days before activation (they have an unfair advantage over other providers as they own all the lines)

let's know how you get on.
