Just heading off to tenerife, can anybody tell me the best places to go out in plya des americas?

The main strip is Veronicas. Watch out as it gets very rough. Just accross the road is another road with a walkabout, linekars and a few others. They are where the real life is. Watch out in Veronicas, I aint picking you up - flying in Saturday.

Its hard to remember the names of places, but as another poster said Veronicas is the main area. Some people will say this is rough, but its only rough in my opinion if you are looking for trouble, if your not you will have a great time. Other than Veronicas further up is Linekers and a few other bars, think the Irish one is called Murphys, these are also good. Off the strip is some small bars providing entertainment like singing, karaoke, comedians etc, these are up around where the old hot air balloon are - any taxi driver will know where it is. I love tenerife...if u start off in some of the smaller bars its cheaper, the better known places are not the cheapest for drink - cheaper than here but you can definatly notice the difference. For quieter nights - depending on your age - you can head up to Los Cristianos, go to places like the Irish Times and there are also more bars around here. Eating out places in my opinion and cheaper and nicer.

The best place we found which was 5 years ago was the Dubliner. Much better craic and safer than Veronica's strip. It was at the opposite end of the strip and was down a stairs...the taxi drivers should know it anyway!
