Which one to buy: Archos 605 or 705?

    I want to get to this one of above for my bf as birthday present. I can't make up my mind which one. 605 with bigger capacity hdd or 80gb 705?

    I believe the 705 is quite big so it would be hard to carry around.

    get the 605 160gb, well worth it if he watches avi files and its a lot more portable than the 705.

    search both models on youtube to see what they look like size wise

    I hear the 605 is meant to be better,so I would go with that one if I were you.

    I have the 605 and find it brilliant. Videos look excellent, wi-fi works very well and internet radio is very handy when abroad. There is also now a cradle available that has a GPS in it that connects to the 605 to give you sat-nav.

    i tried both and although the 705 i would love it was too big and the 605 was brilliant....really clear and you can get a dock that hooks up to the tv and gives great picture

    I ordered from canada and got a great deal with the exchange rate (US Dolloars btw)
