    Hi,

    I was just wondering if anyone could suggest places to visit on the east coast of Australia. I am going with a friend for three weeks. We are planing on going to Sydney(2 days), Gold Coast (5 days), Townsville (Magnetic Island) (5 days), and Cairns (4 days). Any comment suggestions about these places ? Are they any good ? Whats good to do there ? Should I go anyway else.

    Whitsunday islands off Aerlie (sp) beach. Do a cruise for 3 nights around the islands. Unbelievably beautiful. There's also Frasier Island, near Byron Bay. You can do a 3 day package to there. It's a sand island, very few roads. You rent 4 wheel drives and camp. Lots of wild dingos roaming about.
