I was in my estate waiting for the bus into work this morning. Anyways the bus was about to arrive and across the road (about 50 feet away) two woman were running out of another part of the estate to catch the bus. One of them was pushing a young toddler in a buggy. Anyway the woman must have been getting pretty tired from pushing the buggy cos next minute she just took the child out of it and left the buggy in the road and ran the rest of way to the bus and got on.

A guy walking by shouted at them(dont know what he said cos I had my earphones on) and moved the buggy onto the footpath. Didnt think buggys were that cheap that you could afford to just dump them like that.

I've heard of this happening with people who get free buggys from the State I do believe, they just dump them wherever it suits and can claim for a new one.

That urban myth has been done to death here. Someone will come along now and say they were asylum seekers and they get them replaced for nothing.

EDIT: see what I mean ^^^^

The government will give them another one.

Maybe the OP lives in a fantastic, crime-free estate where nobody locks their cars or houses.

One person already moved the buggy off the road for them and I’m certain it’ll still be there and untouched when they return later today :)

Maybe! I guess we'll never know unless the op gets to ask her. Maybe she's loaded and likes to buy a new buggy a day

Maybe she was a member of a community buggy share scheme and that was te nominated drop off point for the next user to pick up?

Maybe, or maybe she broke the buggy while pushing it, and the combined factors of her needing to get the bus and the bus being at the bus stop before her, forced her to abandon the damaged buggy.

    Could happen......:D

maybe she is just a scumbag who dumps something before she gets on the bus and nicks something else when she gets off it.

Maybe they were going in to town to buy a new buggy any way

Maybe it's a buggy park and ride scheme introduced by the Green Party.

Maybe she nicked it and, after a high speed chase against a cop on a space-hopper she had to ditch the hot stroller and take flight in a 47B?

She dumped the buggy but not the child? Rookie mistake.
