    Would anyone be able to recommend a TEFL placement test I could use with students to judge what level they're at?

    I've heard of ones you can buy that also have the answers? I know there are online ones, but I'd rather a photocopy-out-of-the-book type. Thanks!

    Hi Sitstill,

    There are loadsa tests you can buy but I recommend 2 options;
    1. use the progress tests from course books appropriate to their level.

    Or 2. (I prefer this one) get students to make their own tests: Ask them to write a few questions, in class, that would test their class mates. Get them to do also write an answer. Collate the questions and use them...

    Hope thats' of use.
