Ladys and not so gentle men,

I think the time has come to place a gentle reminder about this section of the charter:

KEEP IT CLEAN. That means, NO links to Porn, etc., NO (or at least as little as possible) swearing – the stars are there for a reason you know!.

Boards in general and the motors forum in particular is no longer just a dark corner of the internet where nerdy keyboard warriors trade insults and colourful language. We are mainstream now and get read by hundreds or even thousands every day.

I know that some cars only work properly when you swear at them from time to time , but please try and keep the tone in here from sliding off the scale altogether ...I'm getting tired of having to use the <Snip> scissors.

No more explicit or derogatory swearing please
