Wow that's fantastic value for a cleaning product and in a handy 24-use pack too.

(Try emptying a can over the toilet bowl and leave overnight) :pac:

Keep useless tripe like this to yourself.

Is it all Super-Valu stores or a selection?

I went to Supervalu Skerries and Supervalu Balbriggan on my way to work this morning, they have 24 cans of coke on special for 10.99 Euro.

So it must just be certain Supervalues' or maybe it was just a Sunday offer.

Didn't buy any - Probably better for me health anyways !

My brother just texted, he has just bought the 24 cans for 5.50 euro deal - This morning I was looking at the diet coke price (which is not included in this offer).

He bought me a pallet - Cheers !

He said there are some left but they're flying off the shelves

You can get 6 pack in dunnes around 3.69. i carry a six pack in the car always in a special bag which can have ice packs to keep cool

Is the can packed in Ireland using water sourced locally or did those cans travel over from the middle east?

I think he means is it dodgy Coke imported from outside here, as some retailers do it and its muck.

Each of the cans have a yellow banner thing on them PART OF A MULTIPACK CANNOT BE SOLD SEPERATELY.

Im sure you can go in and if they have enough stock buy as much as you can...:)

I'd assume it's because SuperValu are a wholesaler as well- Musgrave. So they've huge buying power direct from the Coca Cola company.

You'd be surprised - SV and Centra operate as franchises under strict rules. You pretty much have to do exactly what Musgrave tell you when it comes to pricing, I'd be surprised if MSVC would supply it at less than €5.50/24 tbh. Methinks the SV in question may be pulling a fast one, check the expiry date and if there's arabic or greek on the side don't bother, it's filth.

...unless you plan to sell it at €1 a can in which case caveat emptor and all that, buy away :) There's no law I know of preventing you from reselling multipack cans - that's just a coke scam.

same deal in sv in balbriggan 5.50eu/24tray...but its restricted to one tray per customer due to demand....we'll all be addicted to the stuff!!!

Folks the expiry is June '09 and 'tis genuine Irish Coke.

Yep it's just a good deal, got a tray the other day and it's all perfect. Well 4 cans anyway, haven't tried the other 20 yet.

    Basically it s competition.

Pepsi / Club Orange / Sprite / Ballygowan in Ireland was bought by Britvic last year and it is expecetd that will soon launch major price promotions. Coca cola are just pre-empting this and getting people used to buying their products rather than competitors.

All coke concentrates for Europe are made in Ireland. Most promotional coke cans in major supermarkets are bottled in Dublin, but some come from UK.

    Enjoy it while it lasts.

The tesco promotion cans just have small writing saying "part of multipack" it also has in large print "made in UK"

Price is 3.62 per six + get 6 free. Offer on all coke varietites + sprite

Why would Coca Cola sell Sprite to a competitor or do you mean 7 Up?

Couldn't find this in SV Raheny.

Tesco Parnell St had two shelf edge labels up for the 6 pack -
    -Buy 1 get 1 free (~3.60 I think)
    and
    -Buy two for 6 euro

Didn't get either so not sure which one is correct.

    It is what it's.
