Do single girls take the pill?

Hi,
I had a one night stand with a girl last week,we were both extremely drunk and didnt use a condom. We barely know each other and it we just got out of hand. I know it was completely irresponsible and we are both to blame. I wasnt pushing for it any more than she was.
Stds asside(because I will get checked myself), what do you think the chances of her getting pregnant are, I dont know if she is is taking the pill or not. At the risk of sounding like a d1ckhead I know she has slept with different guys and am hoping that maybe sexually active single girls take the pill.
Just wondering what are the chances of her getting pregnant. Any help would be appreciated. We are both in our mid 20s but I i went to college very late and only in first year. This would be a life changing situation where I would probably have to leave college to support financially etc. It may sound weird but I know we are not attracted to each other at all and this is worrying me all week.

i'm single and not on the pill, or any birth control, but then i'm not one for sleeping with randomers (hope that didn't sound judgemental, it's just not something i do:) )so i'd only find the pill necessary if i started seeing soemone and sex was on the cards. but i betcha that thought's gone through her head a LOT more than yours, and if she wasn't on any form of contraception, maybe she went for the morning after pill. give her a ring and ask if shes been checked out, etc, cos no-one in here is gonna know what she's doing about it

was in a similar situation myself a few weeks ago, so i can relate to your worry, you gotta bite the bullit and go and talk to her, thats the only way you'l find out!

I'm single and I take the pill. This makes no difference to your situation though. No point asking random girls you haven't slept with whether or not they're on the pill. Go ask her. Good luck

Ready to be corrected but some girls take the pill as it helps with painful periods. May help ?

I'd say that if you know the girl well then you should know what her personality is like. Does she seem to be the type of girl who would allow herself to have sex with someone without concentrative ?

thanks for the replies, I have to admit I know the obvious answer is to talk to her myself, Ill be able to get her number so Ill give her a text. But I suppose I was just looking for sort of reassurance or something that its not only girls in relationships that take the pill.

Its been bothering me too much to leave it off and ignore the situation. I said something about it alright when we were finished but but when I say I was drunk, i mean really drunk.

I am single and i don't take the pill... I have a stack of cd's just so i am never caught off guard.

You need to get in touch with her to put your mind at ease. If she has any sense, she'll be on the pill. When I was single I took it mainly for skin reasons but it's always good to be protected!

Lots of single girls take the pill, lots don't.

Lot's of people have unprotected sex, lots don't.

What happened to you is fairly normal.

You'd want to be very unlucky if it turns out she's trying to get pregnant.

Most likely she cares more about this than you do, so she is on the pill or got the morning after pill.

The only way to know for sure is to ask her, but seeing as the sex was last week, it's a bit late now to ask her to take the morning after pill.

Don't feel guilty. Having sex is natural and normal. It's probably better to play safe so in future carry a condom with you.
