Play soccer in the city

    am looking to join a soccer team in the city in the next few weeks. division 2 or 3 in the newcastle/rahoon area. anyone know of a website i can get more info.

    That is the Galway FA website.

    It has the final tables for the end of this season on it, so you have a fair idea who is in what division.

    Also, many clubs have contact details added, so getting in contact with your club of choice should be easy.

    It's off season at the moment. The league will be restarting in the second week of August so I don't think you'll find (m)any teams back in training until mid July at a guess. Also majority of the teams in division two and three are outside of the city.

    team ur are looking for is corrib rangers based in westside. they have a second team that train in laurel park on tues and thurs bith as stated it is off season. They usually get going again just after race week.

    Salthill Devon FC is not too far from Rahoon...they train in Drom. As its off season, they run five a side leagues up to the end of next month but if you contact them they may know of a 5-a-side team looking for players. Check out their website..they have great facilities! :)
