Worked Solutions?

Hey everybody, just got a question for you.

I'm a college student planning to resit the leaving in 2009. To get a head start I'm studying Accounting and Biology over the summer, and as such I've gotten textbooks for both. The problem is; while the questions at the end of each chapter, specifically for Accounting (EDCO) would be extremely helpful to work out and check, I have no way of knowing if my answers are right or wrong.

The textbook says teachers are provided with free worked solutions to these questions but gives no information about getting them. I've tried calling EDCO but have just been put on hold endlessly, and no bookshops I've called know anything about it (incidentally I also work in a bookshop). Obviously the publisher would be hesitant about handing out (or even selling; I'm willing to pay) solutions as it would give students an easy way to avoid trying when it comes to homework, so my question is: Is there any way for a student with no current affiliation with a school or a teacher to get a hold of these worked solutions, even if at cost?

If this thread is in the wrong place, or if you can't answer the question but know where to refer me, I'd greatly appreciate any information.

    Cheers

Why not go to www.examinations.ie and download the marking schemes (pdf) and exam papers. I found these very useful in some subjects, especially for biology, as they tell you exactly what the paper examiner is looking for. (take note that the syllabus changed in biology around 2004)
