I've just moved to Terenure and after some quick googling the only sort of fitness thing i can see is a swimming pool in Templogue College or something. Is there no gym nearby? I haven't got a car so somewhere within walking distance on a nearby bus route would be sweet

there is an L.A. Fitness in Dartry, haven't been but might be worth a look, seem to have a free pass you can apply for on their website:

Carlisle is probably your best bet, it's a good gym and very cheap to join. More about it here.

It's on Kimmage Rd W so not far from Terenure. I drive in from Harolds Cross and it only take 15 mins (depending on traffic!), and there's loads of free parking on site.

Phone number is 4654040 (they have no website  ) they'll tell you what special offers are on at the moment.

It's a ten minute walk from Terenure Village.
