Am in France at the moment and have a satellite receiver plugged into the wall in a building that must be serviced by a single dish somewhere up on the roof - I am picking up Radio 1 on 12612mhz but have no idea what satellite it is (13?)?

My question, apart from which satellite I'm receiving is as follows..While I can get lots of TV stations such as Euronews BBC World Al Jazeera (and loads of italian and french channels) together with lots of Radio channels - the RTE Radio signal and other radio signals at 12611, 12612 start to deteriorate after an hour of listening or so everytime I put the receiver on - and I'm assuming this must be a coincidence but its always the same... could i be picking up the fringe of another satellite and all the other channels are on the "main" satellite ... or am I talking complete rubbish! :o

yeah saw that thanks.... but a search on my receiver for 12597 (H or V) shows up no channels...

anyone for what satellite I'm receiving and why the coming and going of 12612 but not the channels/radio stations on other frequencies?
