So i'll be moving to Englandia in Sept.
I'm looking for peoples opinions on a few places, I've been to them but you don't pick up much on a short trip so I'm looking for your opinions.

If a mod could change the title to "Where would you prefer to live?" I'd be much obliged.

Birmingham, unfortunately, is full of people from Birmingham. Irritating accent overload.

    Canterbury sounds too posh.

Wolverhampton is a cool name for a city, and Salford is near Manchester (and Manchester's cool! :D)

So using my fantastic and logical process of elimination, pick either Salford or Wolverhampton :)

Out of those 4 Canterbury is the only place worth living IMO.

Canturbury is a lovely place indeed.

Birmingham I disliked. Not a nice city IMHO.

    Wolverhampton is meh.

where's the "I'd rather shoot myself in the head than move to any of those places" option?

I think most episodes of Traffic Cops on BBC take place in Salford...Make what you will of that.

    I'm not too sure about the above choices, but I'll tell you where I personally would never want to go;

    Coventry.

Canterbury sounds class. Everyone riding around on horseback in colourful medieval dress, defo better than birmingham! what a kip!

    Canterbury abso-flippin-lutely.

Birmingham is (or was when I was last there) Chav Central.

Actually, I'd choose Salford and buy a season ticket at Old Trafford.

    That would be awesome :)

Canterbury - been there, great place, near the chunnel for (day) trips to France. Birmingham nd Salford are a bit rough by rep, dunno if that's true in reality. And I've never been to or heard much about Wolverhampton.

The Sporran changed its name ages ago.

If you're going to live near Manchester there's better places than Salford. -puke-

    Canterbury ftw!

Canterbury is the best on your list.

If possible you should consider Cambridge.

    I chose Salford.

Didn't apply there, the places in the poll do the course I want.

Looks like Canterbury is the nicer place to live.
    My pick of courses too.

    Cheers people!

Cantebury is a lovely spot so in my opinion its your best bet from the list.
Not too gone on Wolverhampton and Birmingham might be the second city but its accent is well and truly awfull
